Line Pipe Coatings
Fusion bonded epoxy coating, commonly referred to as FBE coating, is an epoxy-based powder coating. It is widely utilized to protect steel pipe from corrosion, in pipeline construction, concrete reinforcing bars (rebar), and a wide variety of piping connections, valves, etc.
MCIP’s FBE/ARO coating plant is
designed to handle pipe in OD sizes .5” to 42” and in the following lengths
SRL (20’), DRL (40’) and TRL (60’).
Abrasion Resistant overcoating is commonly referred to as ARO.
3 Layer Polyethelene & 3 Layer Polypropoline commonly referred to as 3LPE & 3LPP.
Liquid Coatings
Liquid Coatings include epoxies, organic & inorganic zincs, and polyurethanes. They provide a tough, protective coating with excellent hardness properties. MCIP is a family-owned and operated business with over 30 years of experience in commercial and industrial painting. Quality and customer satisfaction are always our top priorities.
Founded in 2008, MCIP painted everything from heavy equipment to tanks and trailers.
In 2016, MCIP expanded into the FBE pipe coating market. We created MCIP to provide the best customer service in the pipe coating industry. Our focus was on the 1/2” – 10.75” OD single-layer FBE market.
In 2017 we expanded our capabilities to include 1/2” – 24” OD single layer FBE and dual-layer ARO.
In May 2020 MCIP Purchased the ShawCor Pearland, Texas location. We expanded our coating size range from 1/2" - 42" OD single layer FBE, Dual Layer ARO, and 3 Layer (3LPE & 3LPP). MCIP encourages customers and mills to bring bare inventory to our expanded acreage for future coating.
